Meeting Series „Neuroprotection &
The International Symposium on Neuroprotection und Neurorepair (ISNN) has its focus on the neurovascular pathophysiology of cerebral ischemia and dementia. This meeting series was started in 1998 by Klaus Reymann and Georg Reiser. In the meanwhile it developed into an international known meetings series which considers both current trends in basic, translational and clinical aspects. Initially emphasis was given to pharmacology and stem cell repair, but recent focus is on stroke and Alzheimer's disease as well as related brain imaging. The 8. Meeting in 2014 attracted over 400 colleagues from 29 countries. The meeting is known as an excellent platform for discussions between young and experienced scientists and its round table discussions.
