Meeting Series „Neuroprotection &
Neurorepair“

The International Symposium on Neuroprotection und Neurorepair (ISNN) has its focus on the neurovascular pathophysiology of cerebral ischemia and dementia. This meeting series was started in 1998 by Klaus Reymann and Georg Reiser. In the meanwhile it developed into an international known meetings series which considers both current trends in basic, translational and clinical aspects.

Initially emphasis was given to pharmacology and stem cell repair, but recent focus is on stroke and Alzheimer's disease as well as related brain imaging. The meeting is known as an excellent platform for discussions between young and experienced scientists and its round table discussions.

For review see: Boltze J, Kleinschnitz C, Reymann KG, Reiser G, Wagner DC, Kranz A, Michalski D: Neurovascular pathophysiology in cerebral ischemia, dementia and the ageing brain – current trends in basic, translational and clinical research. Exp Transl Stroke Med., 2012, 10, 4:14.
